Your Zebra Volleyball Team has had an amazing season and it it was extended on Monday night when they became regional champs. Now the big one, the state tournament. They will open up the tournament against the number 2 seed Lincoln Christian.
When I asked Coach Jackson about his feeling on the state tourney he responded, "these girls are battle tested and are ready. They are 28-7 no because of an easy schedule, they are 28-7 because these girls have worked hard and have turned themselves into a great volleyball team." He also spoke about his first round match up against the number 2 seed, and said this. "It does not matter what seed you are at the state tournament, because all 8 teams are very good. If we play the way we can play we can compete and beat anyone there, and if we don't, anyone there can beat us. All I know is I am excited for these girls, they have earned this opportunity and I fully expect them make the most of it."
Lastly, I just want to wish the team the best of luck, and I would say make us proud, but you already have.
